Author, artist, sometimes antique dealer, Chihuahua mama, bedazzled by life. Widowed over thirteen years ago, Barth writes about finding a creative path back to happiness in both memoir and fiction. Self-published, two of her books have placed as finalists in national contests. Writing and dogs gave her purpose during those early days alone. She encourages everyone to write their story. "I had no clue what I was doing when I started my memoir after losing my husband. Now I have a pretty fun Amazon Author Page. I didn't have any formal training, I just set my mind to tell my story and haven't stopped since."

As a self-taught artist, Barth has won awards in local shows. She paints colorful, whimsical images of ladies, gardens, flowers, cats, and dogs in acrylics and mixed media. Art has always played a huge role in her life, from repairing vintage paintings, selling them on eBay, and collecting antique oil paintings and modern lithograph posters.

Barth lives in a lovely town forty miles outside of metro Atlanta that rivals a Hallmark movie set. As Literary Arts Chair for the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts, she founded Walton Writers, a group for writers to connect and share their work. Barth is a former contributor to Walton Living Magazine and a former blogger for The Balancing Act, Lifetime Television’s morning show for women.
